- 지난 주말에는 누나가 놀러 왔어요.

=> 지난 주말에는 내 누나 메리가 나를 보러 왔어요.

=> My sister Mary came over to see me last weekend.

- 누나는 독일에서 산 열쇠고리를 나에게 기념으로 줬어요.

=> 누나는 독일에서 산 열쇠고리를 나에게 기념품으로 줬어요.

=> Mary gave me a key cahin that she bought in Germany as a souvenir.

- 일곱 살 된 내 조카 제임스가 코기리를 보고 싶다고 해서 우리는 동물원에 갔어요.

=> Because my cousin James, who is 7 years old, wanted to see an elephant, we went to the zoo.

 

- 동물원에 들어가기 위해 줄을 서서 기다리고 있는 사람들이 아주 많았어요.

=> There were a lot of people waiting in line to get into the zoo.

- 나는 잠시동안 줄을 서서 기다릴지 집으로 돌아갈지 망설였어요.

=> I couldn't decide whether to wait in line or to go back home for a moment.

- 티켓을 사는 데에는 한 시간이 걸렸어요.

=> It took us an hour to buy the tickets.

 

- 우리가 기다리는 동안 제임스는 솜사탕을 사오라는 둥 나에게 별 걸 다 시켰어요.

=> While we were waiting, James made me do all sorts of things like buying cotton candies.

- 우리가 동물원에 입장 했을 때, 제임스는 너무 신났던 나머지 동물들의 사진을 계속해서 찍어댔어요.

=> When we entered the zoo, James was so excited that he kept taking pictures of the animals.

- 모든 동물들 중에서도 제임스는 코끼리를 특별히 좋아하는 것 같았어요.

=> It seemed like James especially liked elephants among all the animals.

- 그 날은 내가 아주 오랫동안 잊지 못할 내 생에 가장 행복했던 날들 중 하나였어요.

=> It was one of the happiest days of my life that I will remember for a long time.
